Right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You are entitled to withdraw a contract with us within 14 days without providing a reason for the withdrawal.

The withdrawal period amounts to fourteen days from the date on which you or a third party named by you, which is not the carrier, have taken physical possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal we (Le Maire Antiek) must be informed about your decision to withdraw from the contract by giving an explicit explanation (for example via letter by post, fax or email). For this purpose you can access our optional sample form for withdrawal.

In order to observe the revocation period it is sufficient for you to send the message about the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal deadline.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract we have to repay all the payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs arising from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us). The back payment must be repaid immediately at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we received the notice of withdrawal.
For this repayment we will use the same method of payment that you used for the initial transaction unless we explicitly agreed otherwise; in any case you will be charged no fees for the repayment.
We can refuse back payment until we get back the goods or until you have proof of having returned the goods, whichever is the earlier date.
We pick up goods at our own expense.
You only need to pay the costs for any loss in value of the goods if the deterioration in value is due to an unnecessary handling of the goods on your part to ascertain the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
